Jerry Staton established ARTT in 2000 after retiring from the Austin, Texas PD to provide high quality and realistic training for police, military & security. He offers many classes relating to Police Tactics & Use of Force, Excited Delirium & Arrest Related Death, Managing Excited Delirium, and Non-Lethal Weapons training, such as TASER Instructor Certification and TASER End User training.

Jerry is a Force Science Analyst, Senior Master TASER Instructor, Court Recognized TASER Expert, TASER Training Advisory Board Member, Arrest Related Death Specialist and Certified Litigation Specialist. He has testified as an expert in numerous Texas courts -- both state & federal, and California & Iowa district courts. He has also served as a consultant in civil and criminal cases in Texas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Mississippi & Virginia.
