Jerry Staton established ARTT in 2000 after retiring from the Austin, Texas PD to provide high quality and realistic training for police, military & security. Jerry offers Pistol Classes, Shotgun Classes, Close Quarter Battle I, CQB II, Instructor Development, Excited Delirium & Arrest Related Death End-user classes, Managing Excited Delirium, and Non-Lethal Weapons training, such as TASER Instructor Certification and TASER End User training.
Jerry is a Force Science Analyst, Senior Master TASER Instructor, Court Recognized TASER Expert, Arrest Related Death Specialist and Certified Litigation Specialist. Jerry has testified as an expert in numerous Texas courts -- both state & federal, and California & Iowa district courts. He has also served as a consultant in civil and criminal cases in Texas, California, Illinois, Iowa, Mississippi & Virginia.
