Combat Pistol I
This course demonstrates to the student the differences between traditional and realistic training and the results of each. The lecture explains in detail how bad habits are developed because of traditional training and how to recognize and minimize those bad habits.
The goal of the training is to develop real world skills using the handgun while improving the overall safety of the student, thus enhancing the student’s ability to win a gun battle. The emphasis in the dry fire and live fire drills is on retraining the shooter to overcome common mistakes and build the basic skills necessary to progress. Mastering the basic skills is the cornerstone to becoming a first class pistol shooter.
Class size is limited to 12 students so the instructor can spend more time with each student in a one-on-one setting.
